Competition Points for Year End Awards
All entries recieve points which count toward the Year End Awards.
Each print or projected image entered in a competition will be awarded points as follows:
First place – 5 points
Second place – 4 points
Third place – 3 points
Honorable Mention – 2 points
All other entries – 1 point
Total Nights are the total nights of possible competitions in the club year = 10 nights
Maximum Allowed Nights, 8 nights, is the maximum number of nights that can be entered.
The minimum number of competition nights a member must enter is 3 nights.
If you enter more than 8 nights, the penalty is the loss of the highest points' score for a previous competition night.
Competitors with the highest total points for a club year in each class of competition will receive an appropriate award.
If a member judges twice in a Division in the current club year, that member will be permitted to enter a double entry in that Division on another competition night. The member will need to let the Competition Chairman know they are entering a double entry. This does not apply to an Assigned Competition night.
